Review :
What will you choose when you as parent, ill child or healthy child and forced by pain just for saving soul of the sister. By rendering and giving body organ to remain to take care of the continuity of the sister’s life by operations.
Conceived by means of in vitro fertilization, Anna Fitzgerald (Abigail Breslin) was brought into the world to be a genetic match for her older sister, Kate (Sofia Vassilieva), who suffers from acute promyelocytic leukemia, in order to keep her alive. Her family members are introduced one by one and each tells about how Kate's illness has affected them personally. When Kate turns 15, she goes into renal failure. Eleven-year-old Anna knows that she will be forced by her parents to donate one of her kidneys. She also realizes that she may not be able to live the life she will want to lead - she may be unable to cheer-lead, play soccer, or be a mother. Anna tells her parents that she does not want any of this, and proceeds to sue them for medical emancipation and the rights to her own body. Her overprotective mother, Sara (Cameron Diaz), who leads an obsessive campaign to keep Kate alive, is indignant at Anna's decision and even strikes her across the face when she receives the notice of intended prosecution. Anna made a great decision by hiring a lawyer named Campbell Alexander (Alec Baldwin) to require both parents to have used his life for the purposes of the donor. so, how it goes ? If Kate will recover ? And how about Anna ?
But I ensure that all of you will get taken, because this film has more deep meaning from simply demand of Anna. The sacrifice of a sister in assisting her sister for living on. And a mother that try to makes her child has a spirit to get over from her disease and has a normal life. And a story of a girl who suffer cancer and try to assure her mother that she can not recover again and she will died immediately, so she don’t make her family too difficult.
This film is very good from its story and the plots. And then the acting of all actors and actress even also very marvellous. This film tell us the real lesson about life and love.
