MY LOVELY HOUSE

My house is not too big but it is very comfortable. It is the best place in the world for me.

My house is located in Batuan Sumenep. My house looks out on the east. Its wall is yellow and the fence is green. There are many trees in front of my house. And the biggest one is mango tree. My father also plants some flowers in front of my house such as cananga, rose and frangipani.

In left side, there is a garage where my motorcycle and car were put there. Beside the garage, there is a verandah. The verandah’s floor is red. In the Verandah, there are a long chair, two small chair and a table. In front of verandah, there is a small fishpond which contains some fish.

Then after verandah, there is a living room. The curtain in the living room is red and the floor is black. There are some chairs, two tables, a buffet and some calligraphy that was attached on the wall. There is a lamp that has the shape of bekisar cage. On the buffet, there are many miniatures of a boat, some horse and a flying horse. All of them increase the beauty of my living room.

In the left side of my living room, there are two small bedroom. The first room is my parent’s room. There are a cupboard, a small table, a bed, a fan, a mirror and a television. The second room is my little brother’s room. Same with the first room, there is a cupboard, a fan and a bed. The door in first and second room are green with the red curtain.

In the right side of my living room, there is a small library. There are many books, a set of computer, a table and some calligraphy that was attached on the wall.

Behind living room, there is a family room. It has pink and yellow wall with white floor. There are two cupboards, a set of television, a set of keyboard, white board, a set of dinner table with four chairs, a refrigerator, my photo and my brother’s photo. I and my family always eat together in the dinner table. Sometimes, we spend our spare time by playing keyboard or watching television.

Beside family room, there is a bathroom. Behind family room, there is my lovely room  where  I take a rest, cry and pray. My room same with other room. It has a green wall and green floor. There are a cupboard, a fan, a bed and a mirror. The last room is a kitchen where my mother cook delicious food everyday.

NARRATIVE TEXT

THE PRINCESS’ WORN OUT SHOES

It was a mystery. Every evening, the king’s beautiful daughter was locked in her room, and every morning her shoes were worn out from dancing too much.

The king offered a great reward to whoever could solve the mystery. Many people tried, but in vain; then along came a young man who had a magic cloak that could make him invisible. He had been given this by his godmother, a good witch.

When evening came, the young man put on his magic cloak and beside the bed of the sleeping girl. In the night, he saw the princess rise from her bed like a sleep-walker and enter a secret passage which opened up n the wall. Without hesitation, the man followed her.

They crossed a mysterious underground garden. At the end of a long avenue, there stood a castle, gleaming with lights, and there the princess was awaited by the Prince of the Night. A great ball began at once.

The invisible young man hurried back to the king and told him of all that he had seen. When the princess returned at dawn, she found her father waiting, together with the young man and his godmother. The good witch took away the spell that made the princess dance all night and cast another one on her, which caused her to fall in love with her brave son.

The princess’ name was Arwen. And the young man’s name was Frodo. The old spell was lost. Arwen did not dance again with the prince of night named Aragorn. Aragorn loved Arwen but he could not meet the princess again. In fact, Arwen and Aragorn loved each other. After Arwen got the new spell, she fell in love with Frodo. But Frodo did not love Arwen. Finally the King married off the Princess with Frodo. Arwen was very happy.

Because Frodo didn’t love Arwen, he was not happy. He always scolded Arwen but Arwen still loved him, so she didn’t tell her father about Frodo. Frodo hated Arwen and his father. So, he invited his mother to arranged plan to killed Arwen and the King. First, his mother did not agree with Frodo. But, she thought after the King died, her son could be the King in this kingdom. So, she agreed with her son.

When they arranged plan, Arwen’s servant named Eowyn heard all of their plan. “Oh my God, my King would be killed. I had to tell Princess Arwen”, said Eowyn. But Eowyn was late. The King was found dead in his room. The king was die with a sword in his stomach. But Frodo did not kill Arwen.

After the funeral, Frodo became a King in that kingdom. But the people in that kingdom was suffering because Frodo was very cruel. Seeing this condition, Eowyn told the real to Arwen. Arwen was very angry and she would take revenge although she loved Frodo. Arwen assembled the people in that kingdom and arranged a strategy to attacked and killed Frodo and his mother. The next day, the Princess with the people attacked the kingdom and fought with all soldiers in that kingdom. Frodo was surprised when he saw that all of his soldier died. Finally Frodo and his mother joined in the war. But Frodo’s mother, a good witch was dead because of an arrow in his chest. Frodo was shocked and tried to help her mother. But her mother was dead. Automatically, the spell on Arwen was lost. When Frodo was busy, Arwen stood behind him with carried a sword. "I’m sorry my husband", Arwen stabbed his sword into his stomach. Finally Frodo died.
People was very happy when they heard news that Frodo and his mother died. After that, Princess Arwen became the King in that kingdom. Princess Arwen was very happy, so did the people.

After that, Aragorn who loved Arwen heard everything about Arwen’s kingdom. So, he went to Arwen’s kingdom and he wanted to tell Arwen that he loved her. Aragorn was shocked when he knew that Arwen became a King. He said,”Oh, do you remember me ? I’m the Prince of Night. Now, you have been a King”. Arwen said,”Oh, are you Aragorn? I miss you. What’s going on?”. “I just want to tell you that I love you. Do you want to be my wife?”, asked Aragorn. “Oh, yes. I want to be your wife”, answered the princess. 

Finally, Aragorn and Arwen get married. And the kingdom is always peaceful and prosperous.
